We need your help!
UPDATE: 5/14- All volunteer positions are currently filled! Thanks for your willingness to lend a hand. If you’d like to stay in the loop about upcoming volunteer projects, be sure to like us on Facebook or contact us.
Volunteers are needed for 2-hour shifts to count trail users as part of the National Bicycle and Pedestrian Documentation Project. Volunteering in pairs is encouraged. A pizza party for volunteers will take place after the count on Tuesday the 15th!
Trail counts are beneficial because the data can be used to ensure adequate maintenance and apply for grant funding. This year we’ll be joining hundreds of volunteers nationwide in this project!
Where:
Various locations along the Bear Creek Greenway, from the Dog Park in Ashland to Upton Rd in Central Point.
When:
Saturday, May 12 from 12 noon – 2 pm Tuesday, May 15 from 5-7 pm
Thanks for your interest! We’ve got enough volunteers for the counts, but if you’re interested in volunteering in the future, please like us on Facebook or contact us.
